For the past 13
years Leonard Serrani has been in the skin
care
industry. Starting out as a massage therapist in New Jersey and
more recently acquiring his Esthetics license in the state of
Pennsylvania. Leonard has become an accomplished waxing therapist and
educator. Leonard has also produced his first DVD on the art of
Brazilin waxing.
Leonard owns his own waxing center in Schuylkill Haven, Pa where he
provides waxing services to his customers and specializes in Brazilian
waxing. Leonard has been a waxing educator for several years
providing his educational services at international trade shows from
New York and Orlando to California. Leonard has a passion for
waxing and loves sharing his knowledge. He has educated thousands
of students in waxing basics through advanced techniques.
Leonard offers 2 waxing classes to help you increase your spa or
salon business. these classes include; face waxing, body waxing
(includes legs, bikini and underarms), men’s waxing (back and chest)
and of course the hottest money maker in salons, the Brazilian
Wax.

I teach all types of waxing, I specialize in Brazilian waxing. It
is the most popular service in my salon and accounts for over 95% of my
business.

This 1-day workshop is designed for the
service provider who would like to offer Brazilian waxing in their
salon.
- This is an advanced
workshop. If you do not have any waxing experience this is not
the class for you.
- If you have waxing
experience but do not currently offer Brazilian waxing, this would be a
great class to attend.
- If you currently provide
Brazilian waxing and just wnt to advance your current skills, this
would be a great class for you.

Class
Description:
This HANDS-ON
class will teach
you what you need to know to provide
professional Brazilian waxing services. This class is
intense and deals with sensitive waxing issues. You will
learn how to deal with these situations so you can perform this
professional service and make your client feel comfortable. Once
you build your Brazilian wax cliental, they will be your most loyal
customers.
This workshop
is NOT for the timid! We spend very little time reviewing basics
and most of our time waxing. I keep the classes to a
maximum of 5 students to assure everyone gets the proper amount of
training. All models will be provided by our salon.
You will need your friends and co-workers to practice on when you get
home.
You
will learn
Theory (accounts for the first 30 minutes and
reinforced during the entire
workshop)
- Waxing
basics will be briefly discussed.
- Proper
sanitation continued even during the waxing.
- What
before and after products to use and why?
- How to
permanently remove your clients hair using the proper products and
increase revenue at the same time. A Win-Win situation.
- How to
relate to your first time waxers and calm their fears.
- Age
requirements and friends getting waxed together.
- Importance
of following the same waxing procedure each and every time.
- What
paperwork should your waxing client complete and why?
- Indicial
conversation with your client. You need to find out some
important details about what they expect and reality.
- What you
discuss before, during and after the wax. This will determine if
your customer will return.
- How to
WOW your client and generate massive referrals.
- What
should your client ware during their waxing procedure?
- Who
should trim? You or them?
- What
should they do prior to their appointment?
- How long
should the hair be and how should they prepare their skin for an
optimum wax.
- How long
should your client wait between waxes and is it different for their
first wax?
- How long
before a special event should your client get waxed?
- What
waxes to use and why.
- How many
waxes do I need to have warmed and ready to go?
- How to
deal with difficult to wax customers?
- Should I
charge more if a customer takes longer to wax?
- How to
discuss any waxing reactions your client may be having. Keep your
client informed.

comfortable with body parts.

use strip wax and where to use hard wax.

get the butt waxed without embarrassing your client or making them get
on all 4’s.
